Dude, why the living hell do you want so many furry real friends? (Referring to your amazon.com wishlist.)

Posted by: Commander Foley at October 7, 2002 02:06 PM

ain't nuttin' wrong with Sully, yo.

I'm stunned by your audacity at having so many Real Furry Friends on your amazon.com wishlist without also having the obligatory Doug Christie game jersey on said list.

And where's the Amish Quilt book?

Posted by: Commander Foley at October 7, 2002 04:29 PM

OK, I stand corrected. I'm referring to the Fur Real Friends. I think my mind gagged in an attempt to prevent me from typing that horrible name.

Can I join the rest of the Internet and ask what in the blue hell you are talking about?

You're talking Esperanto, or some language twins teach each other.

OK, so I clicked on the link "My Amazon Wish List." When I do so, I see several books on Giuliani, the new Elvis CD (which is pretty sweet, btw), the Episode II DVD, the Collector's Edition 12-Inch Everyday Pan with cover, "Fur Real Friends: White", etc. There are three Fur Real Friends on your wish list. I dunno about the Giuliani books, but everything else on your wish list (EXCEPT the Fur Real Friends) sounds like you.

that's really weird. i clikc on it and get the correct wish list, which has the "24" box set atop it, along with my name. Also has Pulp Fiction, LOTR, some Denni Lehane.

Your computer's cursed, man.

What do you, the viewers at home, get?

Posted by: Commander Foley at October 8, 2002 12:02 PM

I also see the Fur Real Friends -- in orange, white, and grey. What the hell?

ok, from over here, my amazon link take me to

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/wishlist/104-0849731-5479169

for you guys, you go to

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006FXIS/ref=cm_wl_hp_sel_12/104-0849731-5479169?v=glance

what in sam hell...plus, nevermind the fact that the kitten is scaring me...

Posted by: ryan at October 8, 2002 02:09 PM

ok, so it works for me cuz my computer recognizes my login through cookies. which leaves the world in a lurch. so now i have to figure out how to make my wish list accessible to the world.

Posted by: ryan at October 8, 2002 02:15 PM

Either that, or expect a large number of Fur Real Friends under the tree this year...

Posted by: Commander Foley at October 8, 2002 02:27 PM

oh hell, i give up. anyone wanna tell me how to do this? everyone but me seems to have an accessible wish list.

Posted by: ryan at October 8, 2002 02:35 PM

to make matters even more peculiar, even though I can see my own wish list, Amazon.com has no idea it's there, according to it's Search function.

i just don't exist, apparently.
