Two Quickies..
....before bed.
1) The egg trend continues: Tonite Obi-Wan got struck by an egg from an oncoming car as we walked back to her car from a pub. On a funny note, the darn thing appeared to be soft-boiled, bouncing harmlessly off her and splattered on the ground. At this point I feel a little like Austin Powers: who throws an egg, honestly? This egg terrorism is running rampant in Boston, y'all. Homeland Security's just declared the city to be at Warning Level "Sunny Side Up", increased from Warning Level "Omelet" just 72 hours previous to these heinous attacks. McDonald's, in a related statement, today declared that you can now visit any of their stores and purchase a delicious "Freedom McMuffin".
2) I'd like to apologize to NYC, Ontario, Cleveland, and the rest of the blacked out cities. I should know better than to run my microwave and toaster oven at the same time. My bad.

People were stuck in subways for hours, but the New York Stock Exchange has backup power. There's just something wrong with that.

You bad, bad boy. I live in New York and walked over the 59th St bridge to get back home to Queens. I will let Mayor Bloomberg know that you were the culprit so he can leave the poor Canadians alone.

up here in ottawa the radio's been telling us it was all New Yorks fault, I'd like to believe that since the last time (back in the seventies) it was a fault in canada. Either way I was stuck in traffic for an hour and a half, in retrospect I should have parked the car and walked, I would have got home earlier.
