Have a Drink On Me

Been spendoing the last two nights going out with the old coworkers, thus the radio silence here at "Wading" central. Thought about apologizing for this, but decided not to do so. Not going to apologize for going out and having fun versus staying home and writing.

That being said, it's still an important part of my life, this writing thing, so it's far from being abandoned. Just about a cost/benefit analysis on a daily basis, by yours truly, as to what really matters. In some ways, keeping this site up, keeping it updated, keeping it interesting...that's a big goal. It's a big part of who I am. That being said, I am not going to dismiss three hours of drinks and belly laughs for the sake of this site, either. It's tough to admit this isn't exactly the most trafficked site on Al Gore's Internet, but them's the breaks, and the way to generae more visits is not by holing myself up, all Unabomber-like, and typing my way through it.

As for the coworkers: they keep me sane, they keep me smiling, they keep me me. Nothing against whom I work with now, but it's just a different thing altogether. And I'm glad I see them on a frequent basis even though I've moved on. Good people, all, and I'm glad to know 'em.

Good times, good times. Loved the White Stripes text message the other night, McGee! Brought a tear to my (slanty) eye. TLC peeps, rock on!

I still must ask... why do I look so short?
