This Isn't What Plato Had In Mind
So, little tip for y’all, in case this ever comes up for you. Not likely, but then again, this did in fact happen to me, and I clearly demonstrated the “wrong way to do this.
If your coworker asks you what your plans are for the evening, and you reply “Nothing”, to which she replies, “Ah, get used to it, married life will be even worse,” as a joke, do not, in a crowded elevator full of people in your company you’ve never met, try to lightly retort with, “Well, there is all that weekend spelunking we do.”
Because what will happen is that several people in that elevator will undoubtedly become confused by the word “spelunking”, and then mistake it for a sexual term, and then get visibly nervous, wondering when oh when will the doors open already, we have to get away from the tall balding pervert.
And when THAT happens, do not, under any circumstances, in an effort to quell their fears and clue them into the meaning of the word “spelunking” without trying to seem high and mighty by outwardly conducting a vocabulary lesson, then say to your friend, “Because, you know, I like to a little cave diving from time to time.”
Fuel, meet fire.
Aaaaaand scene.

That could quite possibly be the most inadvertently sexual thing I have ever heard in my entire life.
