Lost Preview: Episode 3.21

Tonight's episode, "Greatest Hits", centers around one ill-fated semi-rock star, Charlie Pace.

Jeff Jensen's got a lot of verbiage on this episode (non-spoiler) and tackles "Lost" criticism in general in his weekly wild theory article.

That's all the previews I'm gonna give for now, as the 'net is supposedly crawling with tons of spoilers and I really, really don't want to read anything by accident. Which is all a subtle way of saying "Don't Spoil Me, Peeps". Least not in that way. If you want to spoil me with Sam Adams Summer Ale and 600-thread count sheets, then, by all means, spoil away.

I will say this, though: I think we'll find tonight that Jack and Juliet have been doing the "make The Others think we're isolated and untrustworthy so we can give them the rope-a-dope when they come for the pregnant women" act. Also in on their plan? One Danielle Rousseau, who will supply them with the explosives seen in the above preview clip. Danielle's finally ready to engage the Others now that she knows Alex is alive.

The only thing is, um, Jack? We heard this speech last year. Sounded good then too, until you went and got everyone shot up with tranq darts. Hope you have a better plan this time. One that doesn't involve with everyone rockin' the burlap-sack-over-the-head look this time.

Also, tonight, Jacob will say two more words: "See me." Next week: "Feel me." We'll get to "Touch me" and "Heal Me" in Season 4, I'll imagine. Just a guess on my part.

I'll be back around 12:30 EST with my insta-review. Check out my "Lost" home in the meantime for reviews, podcasts, and other "Lost" goodness until then. And keep all comments spoiler-free, if you must. If you know that the season ends when the smoke monster is revealed to be Kermit the Frog who then has wild sex with Hurley atop a huge mound of Dharma mustard, like, that's great, but don't tell me. Let me experience all the Hurley-frog mustard-y greatness along with the rest of America. Thanks in advance.
